I’m Abbie, a scientist-turned-therapist and maker from Naarm.

I make handmade pottery and art inspired by animals, nature, symbols, and the strange and beautiful details that make the world more interesting. I love pieces that invite you to notice something, smile, pick them up and wonder about the story behind them–admittedly, the ‘pick them up’ part is a somewhat tricky online.

Each piece is made slowly by hand (mostly because I am slow and use my hands) as a way to reconnect with the things I loved as a child and carry on the creative spirit of my late Mum, Patsy Ducharme.
